DESCRIPTION

The plate beveling machine EDGE 80 REVERSE is the version of the Edge 80 designed for beveling the lower side of the plate. Heavy duty machine, powerful and strong, suggested for particularly demanding applications. It is fast and precise, thanks also to the use of a cutter with high-speed inserts, and is particularly powerful, ideal for the oil & gas market.

The EDGE 80 REVERSE can work on plates from 6 to 120 mm of thickness, it can reach a maximum diagonal of 80 mm and it is equipped with a stepless variable head type which allows bevel angles from 10° to 70°, granting a very easy and quick adjustment of the angle of bevel. This machine can also perform J Bevel (R6 and R8) from 0° to 30°.

The plate beveling machine EDGE 80 REVERSE is equipped with a plate detecting sensor and trolley with a new chips conveyance system. It is also equipped with amortization system which allows to overcome eventual imperfections of the plate or of the ground.

The EDGE 80 REVERSE can bevel any material with smooth surface finishing, groove free. Once the machine is placed and secured on the plate it runs along the edge up to the far end with no intervention by the operator.

The EDGE 80 Reverse portable plate beveling machine is dedicated to chamfering the lower part of the sheet metal edge. Powerful and robust, this version of the EDGE 80 is recommended for particularly demanding work on sheet metal whose characteristics, in terms of thickness and hardness, make the required processing difficult to perform.

The bevelling machine guarantees considerable savings in terms of time and resources by avoiding the movement of the piece being processed, in case processing of the lower side or both sides of the sheet metal is required.

Our portable sheet metal beveller is equipped with a drive unit for automatic advancement of the machine, sturdy cast iron wheels and an optional cutter speed regulator.

With the optional cutter speed regulator, the rpm. of the mill can be reduced for an optimal result on all types of materials.
